I met Gilberto Insuasty as my private instructor, his studies in fine arts and his career as a teacher and artist, make him a special reference of Colombian painting, since he has specialized his technique in the creation of orchids and Colombian flora, since more than 30 years ago.

Career
He has always been stimulated by nature, by organic figures and he is a lover of living nature, all of this has allowed him to appreciate the Colombian flora in his works of art, especially orchids.
This artist has exhibited his works nationally and internationally in countries such as: Panama, Spain, Germany and the United States, handling mixed techniques (acrylics, watercolors, colors, spatulas, among others) for different art galleries.
Its theme is varied, focused on figurative abstraction with an approach of great visual and chromatic impact, giving importance to textures and organic and inorganic forms, making geometric abstractions based on different art schools.

- Design in the ethnic groups of the Colombian Pacific (the ethnic color 2010)

- Investigation of the Colombian flora (endemic orchids of the different regions of the country) and its multiple applications to industrial and textile design and design.
