History

I am a self-taught painter and philosophy student at the Universidad del Valle, I live and work in the city of Cali, I have held several exhibitions in the city of Cali and others around the country, I have also had the opportunity to take my work to other countries such as USA, Japan, Spain, among others, some of those occasions have been only through the purchase of a work to be exhibited as a private collection and in others, through the participation of exhibitions open to the public.

Career

I have to say that the current circumstances have given a special character to the work that I have been developing, because it is in my interest to capture the daily life and the environment of my city, I am from Cali and I have moved in this city like any other son As a neighbor, who goes downtown in search of the cheapest, I have bought in 16 used things, I have taken a splash of those who sell in carts, I have gone to buy December clothes on 14th Street when it is almost impossible to walk, I have done all those things that Caleños do in our city and it is there, where I find the fascinating motley scenes, the vitality of my city and the vitality of Caleños and foreigners, the chaos offered by a stampede of lights and shadows, That is the beauty that outshines me and motivates me to paint, and now I find myself in the middle of those works that seem to be an album of a past reality, mass transport no longer seeks to be so massive, crowds must be avoided by our seg Uncertainly, the world we know may be displaced by a new reality and my works are impressions of that world that would be worth observing and conceptualizing.

I want to share this collection that I have been developing and complement it with a few more, accompanied by a conceptualization about mobility and the way in which people construct space, that our presence as passers-by transforms us into a landscape, I am sure that my works Today they are of great importance as a reference for the people of Cali, where spectators will be able to recreate their own lives in interaction with the city.
