We are united by friendship and trust with Omar, as with the other four artists that I represent in these collections of our virtual gallery. I was struck by the lines, the colors that distinguish it and the handling that reflect eroticism and sensuality in the movements of its characters. These colors and Omar’s stroke give personality and originality to his work, his unique style manages to define the human figure with a concept between abstract and figurative that translates into harmony and joy in view of the viewer.

Career
An artist and painter from Bogotá, with a career spanning more than forty years, he has been the winner of important awards and has obtained international recognition for his work.
Master of Fine Arts from ASAB, Francisco José de Caldas District University. Artistic director of the newspaper Le monde Diplomatique Colombia Edition. (2002 – 2015)
